History

ESPY Hair is a retailer of fine human hair for weaves and custom wigs. The company was created in 2004 by Shira and Larry Jacobs. Shira wore weaves on occasion and was frustrated that the hair she purchased was inferior. She was driven to learn about the human hair industry...about its vast array of products and what would work best for her and others like her. She decided her niche would be serving the diverse needs of women of color. She wanted to provide high-quality hair, beautifully packaged along with personal and caring service. The company opened its first Beverly Hills based retail store in August 2005.
