Boucke our President has a background that includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of California at Davis, in 1967. Following his attainment of this degree, he spent five years in active duty as a Lieutenant in the US Navy. In 1973, Mr. Boucke and a small group of colleagues formed a private investment fund to be managed by an outside advisor. Mr. Boucke, with a programming background from the Navy and commercial environments, created a computer system to report gains and losses to the investors within the pool. By 1977, the demand for this service had grown and Mr. Boucke started Commodity Accounting Systems. In 2002 Commodity Accounting Systems merged to become Customized Accounting Solutions and expanded the services provided to its clients. Today, Unkar System continues the quality service Mr. Boucke began by providing fund accounting and administration services to a wide range of investment fund types including hedge funds, fund of funds, traditional investment funds and commodity pools.
