History

Started in Boston MA in 1967 and moved to Los Angeles in 68'. The original location was on Beverly Blvd and later moved to its current location in 1992 which is also located on Beverly Blvd. We have a locations in Calabasas CA which opened in April 2014 and our newest location in Venice which will open in April 2016.

We strive to sell only the purest, ethically and sustainably produced foods, wellness and beauty products, and household items. The Tonic Bar offers: Bulletproof and Vittoria organic coffee, kombucha on tap, immune enhancing wellness tonics, shots, smoothies, and acai bowls. 100% organic cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, juices cleanses, and raw milk alternatives-- fresh pressed daily, never pasteurized, or processed. Dine in, or Take-Out: ALL organic fresh salad bar with in-house made salad dressings, fresh herbs, and only the highest quality cold-pressed oils, fresh organic meats, and seasonal vegetables. (No Canola Oil). Organic soups, hot bar and chef case made fresh daily, containing organic meats, and sustainably raised and wild fish. Fresh-to-go sushi bar. Organic catering menu is one of our cities only organic options. Includes organic and free-range poultry, organic grass-fed beef, bison and organic vegan and gluten free entrees. Find local and unique healthy food items that are hard to come by, raw and dehydrated foods, alkalizing waters, kombucha, fermented foods, raw dairy-free yogurts, and raw milk options. Organic bakery includes gluten-free, vegan and paleo options. We never use refined flours, sugars, canola oil, yeast extract, corn syrup, food coloring. Our Nutrition Department employs two Naturopathic Doctors. We have medical grade supplements and also a wide variety of hard to come by herbs, supplements, tinctures and beauty products.
