English Language Coach

History

I received my TESOL certification and teaching credential in the fall of 2019. In addition to private coaching, I teach adult language learners at the Mountain View Los Altos and Palo Alto adult schools. Before becoming an ESL Instructor, I worked for many years as a client manager in the high-tech industry followed by 12 years as an entrepreneur. I have strong customer service and problem-solving skills and bring these strengths along with my ability to easily connect with others to the classroom and one-to-one or small group coaching sessions.

Specialties

I am passionate about helping my students improve their communication skills so they can be more productive at work and more easily navigate through their lives. I bring this passion into one on one coaching sessions and the classroom as I coach my students in their use of language, tone, pronunciation, writing, and understanding of cultural nuances.
