Tutoring is currently offered on Zoom & Skype for social distancing purposes due to COVID-19. If you live outside of Los Angeles, the online format may be a great option for you!

Jennifer has taught English both in person & virtually from California to Mexico, Japan, Korea, & China! About the Tutor: Jennifer Evans specializes in teaching English & English as a Second Language, since 2010. A graduate of UCLA (B.A.), she has her M.A. in Linguistics/ Teaching ESL & is currently pursuing her 2nd Graduate Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (M.S.) at CSUN. Using a unique & one-of-a-kind teaching approach, Jennifer specializes in pronunciation, speaking & conversation, grammar, vocabulary-building, listening, reading & writing. Professional & patient; sensitive & friendly; thoughtful & kind, Jennifer has a genuine interest in her students' language-learning needs & goals. She has worked with all ages & professions: From pre-schoolers to college students, working professionals, & even actors & celebrities. A credible, professional & valuable educator, Jennifer presented her graduate work at CATESOL (2016-'19) & at UC Davis' Language Research Symposium (2019). Her research interests include the application of corpora (everyday spoken vocabulary & phrases) to the classroom.
