The Elysian Valley Recreational Center, part of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, offers a variety of facilities including parks, swimming pools, picnic areas, and children's play spaces. This center is dedicated to providing recreational opportunities and enhancing community engagement through various programs and events.

Rooted in the historical framework of the city's first Freeholder Charter adopted in 1889, the Department manages public lands designated for community use since the original Spanish land grants. With a commitment to serving the community, the center continually seeks feedback to improve its facilities and services.

They have free classes for kids year round. The Elysian Valley neighborhood council meets here along with many other organizations. They also have men's basketball. Check it out!
