Elings Park is the largest privately funded public park in America. Built on land reclaimed from a city landfill, includes soccer and softball fields, a hill for paragliding, hiking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, and venues for weddings and other special events.

We were introduced to Elings by our dog, 13+ years ago. Sadly, she passed away in December, but we still take late-afternoon strolls in the park & pass out treats to the dogs we encounter....

Wow! This is a park with a capitol P! Amenities galore for your $5 parking fee. We came here for a 4 mile hiking loop that spits you off along the ocean which is awesome. As we were heading to...

I love this park. Great views the bathrooms are pretty clean. I watch my BF play softball here. There's a nice grilling area too
