Elder Options

Elder Options, established in 1988, provides home care and health management services to older adults and their families. It offers a wide range of services that include home visits, complete psychosocial assessments, care planning with recommendations, medication setup and monitoring, and access and coordination with community resources. The center also offers care management monitoring, money management, advocacy, placement evaluation and family meetings with professional geriatric care manager. Its Options' Care Management department is approved as a Medi-Cal provider for the care planning component of the California Department of Health Services. The center operates the waiver project operated by the California Department of Health Services and covers nursing home type care services delivered to residents of residential care facilities for the elderly and publicly funded housing sites. Elder Options is located in Placerville, Calif.
