El Puerto Mexican & Seafood, established in 2005 by owner Catalina Bazán, offers authentic and fast Mexican cuisine focused on quality and fresh ingredients. The eatery prides itself on making Aguas Frescas from scratch, alongside in-house made hard taco shells and tortilla chips, all while sourcing tortillas from a local family-owned shop.
In September 2019, Catalina expanded her culinary vision by opening a second location in the Carlsbad Windmill Food Hall, continuing to serve devoted customers with expertly seasoned rice, beans, and meats. Rolled tacos hit the spot! Very reasonably priced too!!! Very friendly service. Offered 2 salsas, red and a creamy more spicy one. Both were tasty.
