El Charros Barbacoa

History

I started selling Barbacoa in Mexico and when I moved back to Los Angeles I started again by just catering on the weekends, now i decided to take the next step and become a street vendor and maybe once again have a restaurant.

El charros barbacoa prepares fresh beef barbacoa guadalajara style! We offer just one meat but we serve it in different ways. The traditional taco dorado which is hardshell with its own beef grease. The regular soft tacp is served on a natural fresh tortilla. The planchado is a hard shell tortilla with barbacoa and a slice of fresh melted cheese. The consome or beef broth is seved with meat in a 10 oz cup so you get all the great flavors from the spices, peppers, and fresh meat. The barbacoa could also be served as a soup. The quesataco is a taco dorado with melted cheese inside. Finally la francesa which is the mexican version of the french dip, we use freshly baked baguettes then toasted on the griddle and you have the option if you want melted cheese then you can add any condiments before we shower it with consome or we give you a cup. So we just serve the best barbacoa but give you options to try something new each visit.
