Founded in 1974, El Centro del Pueblo is a non-profit community social service agency. Based in Los Angeles, Calif., the agency provides services, such as job training, family preservation, child abuse and neglect intervention, emergency services, youth counseling, behavior change outreach, alcoholism prevention and AIDS prevention, to mention a few. El Centro del Pueblo offers programs that include Youth Advocacy Program (YAP), mental health services and child abuse, family development network, Family Preservation Program and Sports Recreation, among others.
