Educational Employees Credit Union is a nonprofit, full service retail institution that offers a variety of financial products and services for its members. Its products include checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, consumer loans, real estate loans, credit cards, ATM cards, online banking services, cashier s checks and direct deposit. It offers its membership to all students, school employees, members of school organizations, and their family members in Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Merced, Madera, Mariposa, Inyo, San Luis Obispo, San Benito and Monterey counties in California. EECU has 11 branches serving more than 128,000 members with more than $1.2 billion in assets making it one of the largest financial institutions based in the central San Joaquin Valley. In 2003, it was ranked 15th among credit unions in the United States in terms of Return-On-Assets, a key indicator of financial performance. EECU was founded in 1934 and is headquartered in Fresno, California.
