Education Department-Diagnostic Center

Merced County Office of Education enrolls more than 54,000 students and more than 20 school districts in Merced County, Calif. It departments include business services, career and alternative education, human resources, instructional, migrant education and special education departments. Its business services department provides payroll, district, internal business, information technology, stores, printing and grants services. Its migrant education program provides educational and support services to eligible migrant children. Additionally, it offers special education programs for physically disabled students that focus on hearing, vision, speech, learning and physical development. The career and alternative education department provides a wide range of programs and services in the areas of career and technical education, and alternative education and outdoor education programs.
