History

Economy Appliance Repair was founded in 2005 by James Daniels in Angwin CA. In 2009 he moved out of state and I took over the business after working together with him. My background is in mechanics and electronics. I am from near Innsbruck in Austria and I was a tool and die machinist in the Swarovsky Crystal Factory for many Years. In 1985 I came to California as a tourist and met my wive Vivian, so I decided to stay, we got married before my visa expired. I went to Napa Valley College and learned English and Electronics. Then I got into the Television broadcast industry in the 90es I worked for Chanel 50 KFTY in Santa Rosa as a Studio Maintenance Ingener there I serviced and repaired many VCRs and cameras and other broadcast equipment. In the end of the 90s I got a job in HP in Santa Rosa. I became a micro electronics technician and worked on building and tuning oscillator for high end electronic test instruments.
