Isotope Products Laboratories is one of the world's leading suppliers of radioactive sources. It provides a range of isotopes, in-house research and development and engineering services for the development of new and custom sources. With a sales and support presence in more than 60 countries, IPL serves a range of markets, including medical imaging, industrial and standards. The company s history spans more than 30 years. Founded in 1967 by Karl Amlauer, IPL specialized in radiation source production and custom source design. In 1999, Eckert & Ziegler AG, based in Berlin, purchased the company. IPL employs more than 100 people in several Southern California sites, including a manufacturing facility in Valencia. Isotope Products Laboratories also maintains corporate headquarters in Valencia.
