Grace Baptist Church of Redding, California is committed to worshiping and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. We are a conservative, independent assembly of born-again, immersed believers. We are Baptistic in beliefs, but we adhere solely to the inerrant Word of God, the Bible, as our authority. We gather together during the week to receive expository preaching and rejoice through worshipful music. We do not follow fads or trends and do not believe that the Gospel needs to be modernizedto fit today's society. We have a strong sense of heritage for those godly men and women who have gone before us and have believed as we believe. The emphasis of the ministry of Grace Baptist Church is a commitment to expository preaching and teaching. We believe that the Bible is the authoritative, inerrant Word of God, and, as such, it is our duty to preach the Word( 2 Tim. 4.4 ). By a consistently literal method of interpretation and a systematic approach to Scripture, one is confronted with all the major Biblical truths in Biblical proportion and is thus equipped for life, here and hereafter.
