History

Lumiel Kim-Hammerich is an amazing healer with a doctorate in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and over 20 years' experience. Her roots come from two sources: a history of the community acupuncture movement based on social justice and a lifelong search for the hidden best that life has to offer. She believes that the human body is the crown jewel of creation originally designed for self-healing. She believes that we were born for noble reasons and that it is our joy and duty to uncover those reasons if they are not at once apparent. Growing up barefoot in sun-kissed Hawai'i she learned to love and trust the plant kingdom and the ocean.

Specialties

You can finally afford acupuncture in the West Contra Costa County area! Treatments are on a sliding scale ($20-40) with no questions asked. (Initial visit also requires a one-time administrative fee of $10.) We also offer traditional Chinese medicine and life-transforming nutritional counseling.
