East County Karate

East County Karate, located in Lakeside, CA, emphasizes the importance of developing positive attitudes alongside martial arts skills. Founded in 1999 by the late Sensei Chris Pipkin, the dojo specializes in Washin Ryu Shotokan Karate-Do, a style created by Master Hidy Ochiai in the United States in 1966.

Under the leadership of current head instructor Mr. Nathan Morton, who has trained extensively in karate, East County Karate aims to foster personal growth and understanding of martial arts.
