History

The East Bay Mini Maker was one of the first to be established, and is completely volunteer-run. We have grown each year and welcome 6,000 visitors to our event. Repeat visitors make up a large part of our attendees - there is always something new to discover, or an old favorite to meet again. We hope you can join us in 2016!

Specialties

The 2016 East Bay Mini Maker Faire is coming up on Sunday, October 23! The greatest show (and tell) in the East Bay, the daylong faire showcases almost 200 maker projects, with pedal-powered rides, robots, butter-making, origami, screen-printing, workshops, music, food, and more! There are hundreds of opportunities for hands-on learning/making/doing, all included in the entry price. Enjoy a wonderful day with your family and friends, in a 6-acre urban oasis right in the Temescal district of Oakland. Sunday, October 23, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
