Duarte Garage and Lincoln Highway Museum

One of three historic sites managed by the Livermore Heritage Guild. Open on third Sundays. Duarte built his Garage and machine shop on the original Lincoln Highway (later renamed Hwy 50, and then Junction Ave, and then Portola Ave). He later extended the building to the South to sell Durant and Star automobiles. The north side of the building hosts the first Livermore Fire Engines (each lovingly restored).
