History

It has always been a dream of mine to open my own shop, so I call this business Dream Garage, and it is a pleasure to serve you. My dad was a mechanic, working on Saabs in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He used to let me rifle through his tool box for fun. As soon as I could drive, I bought a 1978 Saab 99, which being a high school student, didn't have much money to pay mechanics to fix. I inherited my dad's mechanical aptitude, and was soon reading repair manuals and fixing my car myself. I was grateful for the tutelage of Wolfgang and Steve, the mechanics at Automeister, the Saab and Volvo specialty shop down the road. This hands-on training, along with automotive repair classes in high school and college, set me up well for a career in the Automotive Repair industry. When I outgrew my old shop, I was able to take over Automasters, Glenn Logan's old shop. His style of business and mine are much the same: doing quality, fair priced work with honesty and integrity.

We service all newer foreign and domestic models of cars, providing you with accurate, fair priced work. We particularly enjoy working on Saab, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Mini Cooper, Porche, Rover, Jaguar, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Smart Car, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo, Mitsubishi, Jeep, Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, and even Tesla cars. And being riders ourselves, we also service scooters and motorcycles.
