Dragonfly Golf Club in Madera, CA, boasts the title of the longest course in California from the back tees, stretching an impressive 8,073 yards. Designed by the esteemed golf course architect Gary Roger Baird, it features hybrid Bermuda fairways, bent grass greens, over 80 sand bunkers, and six water hazards.

One standout feature of Dragonfly is its diversity in tee locations, including white tees at 6,302 yards, making it accommodating for golfers of all skill levels. The absence of parallel fairways, houses, and traffic noise creates an immersive golfing experience just 10 minutes north of Fresno.

Dragonfly Golf Club also offers a top-notch driving range with a fully-grassed, shaded teeing area equipped with oscillating cooling fans. After a round, golfers can unwind at Wings Grill, which serves a variety of simple and affordable menu options, including on-course delivery for added convenience.

Greens are a mess. Divot marks everywhere. For $100+, I expect much better. And I'm not alone on this expectation. Great course and layout, just needs some maintenance attention.
