Dr. Soo Kwon

Dr. Javier Mejia born and raised in Colombia. He received his undergraduate and Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Javeriana University in Bogota in 1990. After graduation from dental school, he began to practice and improve her skills until 1999 when he decided to move to the States. After successfully passed the National Dental Boards and all ADA requirements, he was licensed to practice in California in 2002. After several years practicing in the Southern California area, and when he start his own practice, he got involved in the Orthodontics field very seriously, after taking some continuing education courses, he got inspired to pursue higher education and to return to the Bosque University in his country of origin for 3 years of Orthodontic Specialty training, where he received a Masters Degree (MS) in Orthodontics.Since Orthodontics become his profession and his passion, he is continuously furthering his knowledge of orthodontics, dento-facial orthopedics, TMJ treatments, lingual braces, TADs, Invisalign and all the new advances in this fast pace changing field.Dr. Mejia expertise as a bilingual orthodontic specialist makes him an invaluable member of Dentistry At Its Finest.Dr. Mejia is certified by the Dental Board of California and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. Dr. Mejia enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, music, reading and some outdoor sports in his spare time.
