Palm Springs Downtown Park is a 1.5-acre public open space located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, California. Situated near the Palm Springs Art Museum and the bustling retail hub along Palm Canyon Drive, this park offers a tranquil oasis for both residents and visitors. It features locally sourced stone, native desert plantings, and a grove of unique palm trees, creating a sense of place that reflects the relaxed desert lifestyle of the Palm Springs community.

The park's design draws inspiration from the natural features of Indian Canyons, the ancestral home of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. With pathways meandering through native plants and a thick grove of indigenous palm trees, visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of the desert landscape. Additionally, the park pays homage to the historic Desert Inn, which once stood on its grounds and played a significant role in the development of Palm Springs as a wellness and resort destination.

Nicely laid out tables under palm trees and restrooms near by. Quite little place to relax and read a book.

Great park there at Marilyn Monroe statue. Plenty of shade. Water feature you can walk thru to cool down. Bathrooms. The park is utilized for many community events. Come check it out!
