Downey Grinding Co

Established in 1960, Downey Grinding Company Inc. provides centerless grinding services with tight tolerances and finishes on parts in materials such as stainless, titanium and specialty alloys. Based in Downey, Calif., the grinding capabilities include spherical radii, full balls, grooves, flats and multiple diameter shafts. Additionally the company performs thread rolling and knurling and manufactures a range of Cincinnati #2 centerless grinder replacement parts, including work rests, dresser cylinders, kick-out units, camouts, thrufeed guides and gear pins. The equipment list includes 15 fully automated grinders and a 5,000 gallon centralized oil system to filter and cool oil for optimum quality and surface finish.
