Doug Slater holds a B.A. from Brooks Institute of Photographic Arts and Sciences in Santa Barbara, CA. In 1999, while working as Chief Photographer for The Tahoe World Newspaper, Slater began photographing weddings in the Lake Tahoe area. He won multiple awards for his photojournalism from the Nevada Press Association, including: Best Feature Photo, Best Sports Photo and Best Multiple Feature Photos. Doug is currently based in Pacifica, CA and focuses on capturing the love and joy of the Wedding experience.
