Don Won's Corner Deli

History

When Don Won first came to the states in the 70s, the first taste of America he had was a hot Pastrami Dip. He instantly fell in love, but he always felt like something was missing. That something was a little taste of home. Since then he has perfected the recipe with personal touches, using his unique perspective, tastebuds, and especially his heart as a guide. This loving apporach to creating food led to great success in the restaurant business, catering to Celebrities, and Pro SportsTeams. After many years of bliss, lovingly making food, Don and his wife decided to retire. But in his retirement home of Ontario he realized there was nothing but artificial, corporate establishments everywhere. Where was the food created with care and love? He decided to take matters into his own hands. He felt people deserved good food. Don decided to come out of retirement because he wanted people to experience the taste of food made with care. So Corner Deli was born.
