History
For five generations, we have made our wines in a very traditional way. Our family has owned one of the best wineries in Bordeaux (France). Wine is a passion for all of us, including one of our sons who is also working now for one of the largest wine companies in the world. The name of the winery (Becquet) is our own name and goes all the way back to Thomas Becket of Cantorbery. Thomas' Father Gilbert is our oldest known ancestor. The family originated in Normandy (France) and went over to England around 1100 with William the Conqueror. We have a passion for wine and ports which we want to share with you at our tasting-room in Murphys, 415 Main Street. This place came recommended and didn't disappoint! I did the port tasting and my wife did the red wine tasting. The owner was so sweet and friendly! The port and red weee both great!!

Sad to share that they are permanently closed. I will forever miss their ports, if someone learns of any place where you can purchase them please let me know.
