History

Carly and Danielle have an innate ability with animals; they are drawn to animals and animals are drawn to them. They both grew up with several different breeds of dogs and cats throughout childhood and were involved in the exercise and training, agility, and fairly recently the whelping of puppies. Friend's and family members entrusted the care of their animals with Danielle and Carly when heading out of town, and their love and ability to care for animals was desired by others. Based on friend's recommendations, these animal lovers decided to turn their passion and experience with animals into a business; in January 2009 they opened Dogstar.

Specialties

We're not fans of big group walks and believe your dog deserves more attention and supervision. We start with a free 'meet and greet' so you and your pets can get to know us and see if we're a good fit. A standard walk lasts 30-40 minutes and ranges from $20-$25 depending on the frequency. An overnight visit is $65 and includes a morning and evening walk. We are a small company focusing on great customer service and we guarantee happy clients and happy pets!
