History
After purchasing a classic Victorian home built in 1861, I soon found out that there are limited resources for repairing windows and doors while maintaining the historical value of the home. After doing the renovation work on my own, a friend suggested to offer my services to others in need of restoration work. Hence DK Screens was born. The business has expanded to both residential and commercial customers and we now offer complete window and door solutions.
Specialties
We provide both wood and aluminum framed window and door screen repair and replacement, as well as repair and replacement of single or double hung wood windows. Re-glazing (fixing broken glass) and sash cord repair on historic home windows is another specialty of ours and we are very carefull to maintain the historic value of the window without causing damage to the sash We carry a limited supply of historic
