Metal Surfaces was established in 1955 to provide precision plating to the aerospace, electronic, automotive and medical industries. Located in the Bell Gardens, Calif., Metal Surfaces more than 70,000 square foot facility provides 12 continuous reel to reel plating lines, automated barrel plating and a wide range of rack and individual plating resources. Additional capabilities are being installed to expand the precision plating of plastics and other non-conductive materials providing both high volume bulk processing and continuous reel-to-reel coating.

Ultramet has been continuously active in the field of chemical vapor deposition fabrication and coatings and the development of advanced materials since its inception in 1970. The company has extensive experience with refractory metals, ceramics and composites, all of which are used in the nuclear and chemical industries. During the years, Ultramet has expanded its capabilities to include the fields of physics, chemistry, metallurgy, materials science, materials engineering, chemical engineering, ceramic engineering and mechanical engineering. It has also upgraded its analytical and quality assurance departments with full analytical capabilities for its production programs. Ultramet has a facility in Pacoima, Calif.
