History
Dip n Strip was opened at its current location in 1976 by Joseph Tapia. Chuck started bringing his projects to Joe for stripping in 1981. When Joe retired in 2000, he convinced (conned) Chuck into buying him out and moving his finishing operation from Thousand Oaks to the 2,000 square foot shop in Camarillo. Chuck continue to operate at that same location. Today, our goal is to provide a wide range of services to everyone from the do-it-yourselfer to the most discriminating and demanding designers and clients. And in the process, we plan to have some fun doing it. Otherwise, why bother?
