History

I have been licensed as a Cosmetologist since 1981 and did hair for three years. I found my calling when I had my first facial in school by an esthetician and realized at that time that I was going to school for the wrong thing. Later on I worked as a dispensing optician for twelve years and in the last two years worked for an optometrist. It was he who let me start my own business in a back storage room in his office on D Street in San Rafael. Starting with very little capital and an old used massage table I advertised in the Marin Express Book and offered my 90 minute Signature Facial for $30. Within eight months I had built up a clientele that allowed me to move into my own space, and for the last thirteen years I have been located on upper Lincoln Avenue in a beautiful, relaxing studio that now has a large relaxing massage table that will melt your cares away the moment you lay down.

Specialties

For over twenty three years my clients have been coming to me for facials that offer relaxation, a sense of well-being and results. I am told my facials are a total spa experience. My Signature facial is ninety minutes (sometimes longer) and involves a wonderful healing massage that not only involves the face and decollete, but arms, foot to knee massage and ends with a scalp massage.
