Desert Dream Dance Company Studio officially opened its doors August 1st 2015. Directed by Janelle Rodriguez, a belly dance performer and choreographer who has trained in many styles of dance since the age of 5. Based in Santa Cruz, California, Janelle teaches classes and serves as artistic director/choreographer.

This studio is a GEM in Santa Cruz. If you are curious about middle eastern music and dance, look no further. Janelle is a brilliant dancer and teacher. 5 stars +

Janelle is the best! Taking the beginning introductory classes...the warmup routine is really powerful. The initiation of the small muscles needed in these movements is assisting in my running...
