Christian Schools of the Desert aims to provide an educational program that emphasizes on the study of the Bible. Established in 1977, it is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. The school enrolls more than 450 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. It has a more than 10-acres facility, with over 30 classrooms, computer lab, library, gymnasium, athletic fields and swimming pool. Its curriculum includes arts, computers, business, industrial arts, English, family and consumer sciences, foreign languages, health education, math, music, vocational and physical education, science, art and craft, and social studies. Christian Schools of the Desert has more than 40 full-time teachers, and is located in Bermuda Dunes, Calif.

Zion Lutheran Church
