It's a decent school. All my kids go here. Most of the teachers are caring and take the time to talk to you. The principal....thats another story. Try to catch her if you see her out and about.

Denker Avenue Elementary School is operated by the Los Angeles Unified School District. Based in Gardena, Calif., the school offers classes from prekindergarten through grade five. It provides instruction in a wide range of academic areas. Denker Avenue Elementary School also provides classes in various foreign languages, such as English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Tagalog. The school offers a range of programs, including the immersion program, gifted and talented programs and special education classes. Denker Avenue Elementary School also offers the dual language Korean immersion program that includes Korea visits for more than 50 students every year. The school provides an extended learning program, which includes after school tutoring services.
