Demco Electronics

Demco Electronics was founded in 1975 as a specialty computer hardware manufacturer. In 1988, the company moved into the self-storage industry with a gate access control system. Vandalism and weather, including lightning strikes, easily takes its toll on keypads in the industry. Demco Electronics keypad is moisture resistant and features all-metal keys. The housing is constructed of one-eighth-inch thick galvanized steel. The keypad features a three-stage lightning protection package, full power failure recovery, battery backup memory and clock and independent operations from the facility computer. Demco Electronics is headquartered in Inglewood, Calif.
