Delta View Elementary School

Established in 2004, Delta View Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers academic programs in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally has art, music and physical education specialists. Delta View Elementary School also provides before- and after-school child care services. Its students participate in visual and performing arts experiences that promote interest in literacy, develop problem-solving strategies, enhance creative thinking skills and build self-confidence. The school offers an accelerated reader program that encourages students to read more books. In addition, Delta View Elementary School provides gifted and talented education. It also supports a student council. The school is a part of the Mount Diablo Unified School District, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools. The district operates through curriculum and instruction, food and nutrition, maintenance and operations, personnel and special education departments.
