History
Curtis Delk started Delk Bees 25 years ago. An entrepreneur at heart, he grew his small group of bees up to 500 hives and quickly made a name for himself as a knowledgeable commercial beekeeper in the San Joaquin Valley. Relying on family to help out with his pollination and honey operation, Delk's youngest son Scott Delk took on most of these duties. After 25 years, Curtis Delk has decided to hang up his hat and veil and turn over his bees to his youngest son, Scott Delk. After three years of creating some of Santa Cruz's most sought after meals at Johnny's Harborside, Chef Scott Delk is now creating some of the most delicious honey condiments around with his family's honey! Delk Bees has two bee farm locations. One here in the San Joaquin Valley in Raisin City, CA. The other in Henryetta, OK.
