Bet and cheer on your lucky Thoroughbred horse at the Del Mar Race Track, the second-largest horse racing venue in the country. Visit between late July and mid-September or from mid-November through early December to catch a race. You can book a hotel in the area to make the most of the event, as up to 10 races are held on a single day.
