Dawn Carter

History

Dawn Carter spent the first seven years of her career in Atlanta, refining her skills in the art of color specialization. She later hosted her own student workshops on color formulation and technique. While specializing in color, Dawn never stopped loving the fundamental art of styling and finishing hair. In 2003 she relocated to Los Angeles to study cutting - honing and crafting her technique over the eight years to follow. Dawn is now branching out into the editorial, beauty and entertainment industries. She has worked with music icons including Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson and Ru Paul. Additionally, she has joined forces with ABBA to provide not only education to her fellow stylists, but inspiration as well.

Specialties

I am a hairstylist that specializes in color, hair cuts, Keritan treatments, and formal styling. I spend a substantial amount of time working towards continuing education on all of the latest hair cutting and coloring techniques.
