History

After working in San Francisco for the past 20 years, starting at the internationally-acclaimed Cowboys and Angels and then at Shapes Holistic Salon for the last 14 years, I moved to the East Bay in May 2015. For much of my career, I have specialized in curly hair and organic color, as well as offering integrative sound healing and rebalancing treatments which I continue to do in my new shared location, a beautiful loft space in Emeryville at 62nd and Hollis. My recent move to the East Bay has coincided with the expansion of my business to be more explicitly open to all genders and sexualities and consciously offering a space which allows my clients to explore a broader range of personal style and self-expression.

Haircuts with a ceremonial intention, to consciously let go of what no longer serves you, integrating personalized gem and sound elixirs as well as the option to have your written intentions and hair released in a monthly full moon ritual. I welcome and affirm all genders, sexualities, abilities and ethnicities, from barbered cuts to sculptured curls and everything in between.
