HistoryI started teaching guitar in 2005 in the Santa Clarita Valley. My training began in 1992 as a soprano in the Singing Boys of Pennsylvania. 3 years later at age 12, I received my first guitar as a birthday gift, using my choir training to hear and learn guitar music from bands like Nirvana, Silverchair ,Weezer, Bush. Through high school, I took guitar lessons from Stroudsburg, Pa local guitar instructor Scott Pensack, played in the highschool jazz band, and formed bands of my own with friends. I later attended Mansfield University for a semester to study Classical Guitar performance with Matthew Slotkin. One year later, I enrolled in the journeyman program at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Since then I've been a professionally working musician, playing gigs with my personal projects throughout Los Angeles and teaching guitar, drum and piano lessons.SpecialtiesOver 7000 lessons given to over 300 students. I am in my 25th year of dedicated study to the guitar. Learn your favorite songs, music theory, improvisation, sight reading.
