History

Miss Deepa has always had a passion for education. She holds a Master's Degree in Computers and has worked in the IT sector. She has two beautiful kids, an 11-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son, who both attended Montessori schools until kindergarten. Upon her introduction to the Montessori classroom, Miss Deepa became obsessed with the system of Maria Montessori. She did an Early Childhood Montessori Diploma program, and then after a year of internship, she started her own preschool in 2012. The preschool was held in her hometown of Seattle, but soon she and her family moved to San Diego, California. Here, Miss Deepa was working as a teacher at Montessori schools for many years before establishing Daffodils Montessori.
