Cypress Elementary School

Cypress Elementary School is a single-track, year-round school with approximately 800 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has a site council, bilingual advisory council and parent-teacher association. Its teacher association supports field trips, student-recognition functions and classroom projects. Cypress Elementary School offers academic programs in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It additionally has art, music and physical education specialists. The school offers various after-school academic programs and daytime tutoring sessions for specific students. In addition, Cypress Elementary School has a library that provides catalogs, books, magazines, dictionaries, newspapers and other reference materials. It is located in Fontana, Calif., and is a part of the Fontana Unified School District.
