Great service and even better people. Well worth the drive. As a long time customer of Cycleworks in Healdsburg it was great to have the shop continue after Richard retired (again).

Hillside Honda

In 1963, Ed Brown built the Bar-B Marina in Nice, CA. He started with selling Raysoncraft boats, Honda motorcycles and a complete marine facility. Ed, had his wife Charlotte, son Eddie, and daughter Barbara, for support and help. As the business grew, the decision was made to start Avenger Fiberglass Mfg., a boat building and fiberglass business plant, which built various models of boats and other fiberglass products. At this time the Honda business was moved up on the hill above Carson way and Lakeshore Blvd., thus the name, HILLSIDE HONDA, was started. In 1975, the business in it's entirety was moved out to 2544 East Hwy 20 in Nice. Paul, Ed's son-in-law, who had been running the fiberglass part of the business, upon Ed's passing, moved into the retail end of Honda Business. Still keeping the business location on a "HILLSIDE". Once again, we outgrew our facility, and moved the business to 460 S. Main St., in Lakeport. It was somewhat of a disappointment to our customers on the north shore, but we are still able to please them and the people in Lakeport, Kelseyville, and the southside of the lake, welcomed us, as now we are closer to them. Our customers have come from all over Northern California, and literally world wide, to shop at Hillside. We have a reputation for excellence in our service department, price competitiveness and customer satisfaction from our sales department, and a parts department that accomodates a number of enthusiasts ; whether on land or water.
