History

My name is Milton Crossland Sr. and have owned Crossland's Private Investigation Service (CPIS) since 1999. My Investigative experience included (1) Federal Investigator with the Office of Personnel Management from 1989-1994, conducting background investigations on individuals who needed security clearances for government positions; and (2) Equal Opportunity Specialist with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs from 1998 through 2019, ensuring that they did not engage in unlawful employment discrimination. Large percentage of my position included evaluating the employment practices of federal contractors to determine whether they complied with the equal employment opportunity and affirmative action obligations under Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 (VEVRAA).
