We held the first Critical Hit! on March 1st, 2014. There weren't enough chairs so half the audience had to stand and only one of the three comics we booked actually showed up. But people loved the show. In the two and a half years since then we've built a stage, put up lights and bought more chairs and people still love us.
Specialties
Critical Hit is Oaklands best comedy show in a board game store! Twice a month, we bring you some of the best comics from all over the country. Some of our recent headliners have appeared on Comedy Central, Conan, and have performed at some of the top festivals in the world. Every Saturday. 8:30 - 10:30 Doors open at 8. Free pizza while supplies last. BYOB $5-10 sliding scale at the door.
