Crippen Mortuary was founded in 1928 by William & Ethel Crippen and has been in operation continuously at it's original location in La Crescenta, California for over 87 years. As the only independently owned and operated funeral home in the Foothills, we strive to provide the finest, most compassionate care to each and every family we serve. For more than 87 years we have proven that it is possible to provide affordable funeral and cremation services without sacrificing the level of personal care and quality. In 2011 Crippen opened a new Mortuary office complete with a small chapel and casket display room in Santa Clarita to bring the same level of compassionate care to a different local community. This Mortuary, located at 16653 Sierra Hwy, gives families in the Santa Clarita Valley a better, more personal and affordable choice when it comes to who they want to handle their Funeral Service needs.
