Leon, entered the food industry as an adolescent and worked in positions ranging from Dishwasher to Gen Manager. Propositioned in 1990 by his mother to run the newly opened family restaruant (Old Hickory Bar-B-Q) presented him the opportunity to learn and utilize his experience in the food sector. Faced with the challenge of building a business from ground level he inevitably developed a sincere passion for the restaurant industry.
